Since 1950, the Shaker Museum and Library has been the premier center for the interpretation and exhibition of the largest and oldest collection of Shaker art and artifacts in the nation. This vital resource remains available solely through the generosity of individuals like you, who know the importance of preserving an important part of American history. Your SM&L membership at any level will ensure this unique collection of objects and artifacts will remain a resource for generations.

In addition to supporting a unique cultural institution, all Shaker Museum and Library Members receive the following special benefits:

• A 10 percent discount on most merchandise in the Museum Gift Shop
• A subscription to the Broadside, the Shaker Museum and Library newsletter. 
• Free admission to 15 other New York State museums and Hancock Shaker Village (non-event days only)
