The Shaker Museum and Library is located in the Upper Hudson Valley of New York State on 48 acres of rolling farm hills in rural Columbia County. With it’s charming farm building and natural beauty, this picturesque location is the perfect backdrop for any event.

• Location: You won’t find a lovelier site that is also historically tied to the community anywhere!
• Individual Attention: The SM&L hosts only one event per day, making your event the special day you deserve.
• Amenities: The SM&L has ample space and amenities including free parking and onsite restrooms for both ladies and gentlemen-no portable toilets here!
• Choices: Our staff is happy to recommend caterers, photographers, etc. for your special day, but all of the decisions are yours. You are not tied to services or vendors you do not want.
• Flexibility: we are here to make your event special. While we use a standard contract, we try to accommodate any reasonable request, so please ask!
